Our Story - Why "Borrowed Earth"?
As said in a Native American proverb: "We don't inherit the Earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children."
When thinking in this way, avoiding single-use plastics and minimizing the introduction of toxic pollutants into habitats makes sense. We leave the Earth better for future generations because they deserve it. In working with today's youth I have noticed a new phenomenon called "climate anxiety". As adults, it's important to be role models in making changes through our consumer choices. We have the power to make small yet meaningful change with every purchase we make.
