About Us
Our Mission
B.E. was co-founded by two high school teachers, Vicky and Cheri', who work with and care deeply about future generations. B.E. is committed to minimizing the use of hormone inhibiting toxins found in commercial products, addressing our society's reliance on single-use plastic, and reducing our carbon footprint while delivering effective natural body and home care products. B.E. will always carefully select our ingredients and packaging to minimize negative impacts on the environment, and the species with which we share our planet.
Cheri' Chambers
Borrowed Earth started in a tiny kitchen in Hong Kong. As a sustainably minded natural lover I was creating my own products such as lip balm, lotion bars, and bug repellent to reduce my own reliance on commercial products in plastic packaging. Over several months of sharing with friends the journey began. I am grateful to be joined with Vicky in 2024 and believe we will be able to do great things together. I am a maker at heart and all I want to do is make products. I'm happy to have her business minded savvy to do all the "other stuff".

Vicky Zhu
Being born and raised in Oregon, I enjoy all of the nature and greenery of this wonderful state. My family has taught me to live humbly and preserve our natural resources. I make an effort to produce less waste and live a natural lifestyle, because I believe it will be better for me and our environment. When Cheri' shared her products to use at school, I wanted to learn more. She has taught me a lot and I strongly believe in what she brings to our community. Together, I hope we can positively influence others to decrease our negative impact on Earth.
